An Australian Defence Force member has died during a training exercise in Darwin.
The defence force confirmed the army member died during an exercise at the Mount Bundey training area on Oct. 5.
Five other soldiers were also injured in the incident, the force said in a statement.
“Next of kin have been notified,” the defence spokesman said.
“We request that the privacy of defence members and families is respected at this time.
“Defence will provide further updates when possible.”
This is a developing story.
