A schoolboy who died in a horror truck crash has been pictured for the first time as his family pays tribute to the "kind, charming and funny" teen.

Llŷr Davies, 16, died on March 12 in a horror accident in which a truck reportedly slipped down a slope leading to a river in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

He is said to have fallen out of the truck as it slipped down the banks of the eastern river Cleddau in Efailwen, an area of Clynderwen.

The grieving family has since released a statement via Dyfed-Powys Police paying tribute to "kind, funny and charming" youngster.

The statement read: "It is with great sadness that we as a family announce the passing of our beloved Llŷr.

"On March 12 our world was turned upside down when learning of the death of our kind, funny and charming Llŷr.

"Your caring and warm personality will stay with us for the rest of our days.

"Your ability to light up any room you walked into is something we will cherish and remember forever.
