Royal Family fans are all saying the same thing about Meghan Markle as Prince Archie celebrates his birthday in California.

Thousands of well wishers took to social media to share pictures of Archie Harrison, accompanied by touching messages as he turns five in Montecito - where he will no doubt be celebrating with dad Prince Harry, mum Meghan and two-year-old little sister Lilibet.

Fans were all making the same comparison, as they commented on how much the little prince, who is sixth in line to the throne, looks like his mum Meghan.

Writing on X, one fan said: "Meghan Markle mini-me Prince Archie turned 5 today. It's unbelievable that he's 5 years old today. I feel old. Again, Happy Birthday to you, Prince Archie."

A second added: "Prince Archie really is a Meghan Markle 'mini-me'."

A third chimed in: "Happy birthday, Prince Archie. May God bless and protect you, your little princess sister Lilly, and of course, your papa, your mama, and grandma. Have a happy birthday."

Royal fans were also quick to comment on how "cute" the eldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is, with one saying: "Happy birthday to the wonderful adorable super cute and funny Prince Archie!"

While another shared a video of Archie with dad Harry, writing in the caption: "Prince Archie is too cute!"

It comes as Harry and Meghan have "denied" claims that they are stopping King Charles from sending his grandson a shepherd's hut worth around £18,000 for his birthday. A source close to the Sussexes has refuted allegations that the couple are against the King's proposed gift - with the monarch understood to have once sent something similar to Prince George.

Royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror: "He would love to give Archie something similar but knows that Meghan and Harry are against it. Meghan wants Archie to associate his birthday with all things American because Archie is already constantly asking about his royal family in the UK."

Any celebrations for Prince Archie's birthday will be short-lived, however, as Prince Harry will soon land in the UK ahead of an Invictus Games ceremony at St Paul's Cathedral in London on Wednesday, May 8. Meghan Markle is not expected to join him, but will instead fly to Nigeria where she will later be joined by Prince Harry. It has not yet been confirmed whether Archie and Lilibet will travel with them to the African nation.
