The Sussexes are "proud" to be part of a parenting trend concerned about the impact smartphones can have on children, Meghan Markle has said. The Duke and Duchess, whose children Archie and Lilibet are six and four years old respectively, both spoke at an Oprah virtual launch event for a book which "invites kids to step back from their screens" and how they can enjoy life without a smartphone.
Harry and Meghan showed their support for the cause, with the Prince calling the topic "incredibly valuable". Meghan said: “An emoji laugh is not the same physiological response that we need, that our kids need.”
