The Duke and Duchess of Sussex saw their popularity with the UK public decrease by three points in a new poll, however they ranked higher than three other members of the Royal Family.

Prince Harry: Ex-ITN royal editor says his popularity has fallen

and  have received yet another blow as in terms of popularity in a new poll.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did however shockingly rank higher than two members of the Royal Family, butcompared to last year, an Ipsos poll for The Evening Standard found.

Just 11 percent of Britons named Harry as the royal they liked the most, while .

The couple were followed by Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie who ranked 10th and 11th and saw their popularity decrease by one and two points respectively. Prince Andrew ranked 12th with just 2 percent and saw his popularity decrease by two points.

Meanwhile, Kate, the Princess of Wales emerged as the nation’s favourite member of the Royal family with 38 percent of Britons voting in favour, however the poll was conducted before the latest Mother's Day photo editing fiasco.

Royal expert blasts 'wicked' comments about Princess Kate: 'Online is such a cesspit'

A royal expert has lept to Princess Kate's defence

Royal author Robert Jobson has spoken out against the ongoing online saga, as he told TalkTV: "The internet has got some pretty wicked trolls out there and people who are writing quite appalling things that would not even be said in the pub.

"I actually do think that we should not necessarily be ruled by the internet and try and take some media responsibility as organisations because online is such a wicked cesspit of comments about Kate at the moment and frankly they're not worth repeating."
