Royal Ascot made a second blunder when they released the carriage list for the Royal Procession on Thursday afternoon just hours after prompting confusion about the Princess of Wales' attendance. The list showed that the King and Queen will attend the event for the third day and will ride in the first carriage along with the Marquess and Marchioness of Salisbury.
While the carriages will be full of several members of the Royal Family, they made an error when it came to the spelling of Princess Beatrice's husband's name. Instead of writing Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, he is listed as Mr Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi.
The mistake comes the day after Ascot listed Princess Kate as appearing at the second day of the event, even though it was understood that Kensington Palace had already confirmed she would not be present.
