The London Clinic has launched an urgent probe after reports Princess Kate's patient confidentiality was breached when she underwent planned abdominal surgery there in January.

Hospital bosses are reportedly distraught after an alleged attempt by colleagues to look at the Princess of Wales's private medical information.

The Mirror reports that at least one member of staff was said to have been caught trying to access the mother of three's notes. The hospital in Marylebone, central London has a reputation for discreetly treating royal, including King Charles, as well as celebrities and high-ranking politicians.
