Princess Kate recorded a video message, to discuss her health issues, appearing alone, but Prince William was close by, it's being said.

Princess Kate sat on a bench, by herself, to talk about her health issues, and she chose to do so without Prince William, because this was her story to share, a royal expert has claimed.

In an interview with the Times, a royal source said, “This was her as a strong woman sharing an innately strong message to the nation. She didn’t need anyone sitting next to her," reported by The Daily Beast.

The source added, William “has been supporting her and the family in the background.

“She did it with his full support and advice.

“On every level, he wishes she didn’t have to do it. But it was her decision, it wasn’t begrudged, and he fully supported it.”

Kate took a moment to record a video for the public, talking about her health issues, going over her surgery and that cancer was founded in post-surgery testing. She is currently undergoing “preventative chemotherapy,” to make sure her body is rid of any cancerous cells.

The friends reflects on William’s earlier life, when losing his mother, Princess Diana, and that has “led him into the protection mode he is in now,” it’s believed.

According to the Daily Beast, an aide said: “All he wants to do is protect his wife and children.”

It’s being reported, Kate will not participate in the Easter celerbation this year, typically held at Windsor Castle.

Instead, “the family just want to go away for Easter, spend time together, the five of them, close off from the world and move on,” says the friend.
