Meghan Markle has been told by a royal author that "lots of things have gone wrong" with her lucrative media deals since she and Prince Harry stepped away from the Royal Family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as working royals in 2020 and signed bumper media deals with Netflix and Spotify.

However, the couple's deal with the latter was mutually terminated last year, ending Meghan's podcast series 'Archetypes' after just one series.

Royal author Angela Levin told GB News: "Netflix isn't very keen on her anymore. Spotify isn't keen because it was 'me, me, me' she was talking about and she wasn't asking interesting people what their lives were about.

"A lot of things have gone very wrong and she has gone back to the beginning."
