National Lottery's operator hails huge jackpot

Andy Carter, who is the senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, said: "The UK is only weeks into its Powerball journey and already players have the chance to play for an estimated £411 million.

"This is one of the biggest jackpots in Powerball history.

"This kind of win isn’t just life-changing, it’s potentially generation-changing. It could help a winner support their family for decades, fulfil lifelong ambitions, champion causes they care about and leave a lasting mark on their community."
