Queen Camilla's visit to Worcester Cathedral has been met by an anti-monarchy protest.

The mob, from Republic, has pitched up with banners and flags outside the venue in the UK city ahead of the Queen's arrival.

Camilla is appearing in place of King Charles at the traditional Royal Maundy Service, as he continues his cancer treatment. The protest also comes after Princess Kate's cancer diagnosis.

Republic Chief Exec Graham Smith told Express.co.uk: "We will be here all morning until the Queen leaves. Our message is the same as usual: abolish the monarchy. We will keep protesting until it is abolished."
