The kits for the Three Lions unveiled by Nike ahead of the Euros feature a cross on the collar of the shirt with a blue and purple horizontal stripe rather than the traditional white and red symbol.
Speaking on his GB News show, Mr Farage branded it an "absolute joke".
He said: "Well ok that's fine, that looks ok, until we go and have a look at the St George's Cross, or at least their interpretation.
"That's it, it's a multicoloured cross, it bears no relationship to the St George's Cross whatsoever.

"If the England football team think that's acceptable well why on earth would you be apologetic about Englishness if you're going to play for England in the European football finals. I think it's an absolute joke."
Nike described the change to the St George's Cross as a "playful update... to unite and inspire".
The sports company said the 2024 kits "celebrate football heroes of the past with a modern twist".

But the updated St George's Cross sparked outrage from users on social media platform X.
Meanwhile, Reform UK MP Lee Anderson branded it “virtue-signalling, namby-pamby, pearl-clutching woke nonsense".
And Tory MP Brendan Clarke-Smith added that the design “looks nothing like our flag”.
