Mike Tindall has firmly ruled out participating in BBC's Strictly Come Dancing following rumours about his and Zara Tindall's potential involvement in the popular dancing show. Mike and Zara Tindall confirmed they will "not take the risk" with the Strictly Come Dancing curse.

Mike said bluntly: "Just say we can't do the Strictly curse, we are not going on it. We are not taking the risk. We are very happy."
The Strictly curse refers to where romantic relationships have developed between contestants and professional dancers on the show due to the close bonds formed in a short amount of time.

The term is associated with a history of break-ups, alleged affairs, and on-screen chemistry that leads to romantic relationships developing off the dance floor.

A famous example of the 'curse' was between comedian Seann Walsh and Strictly professional, Katya Jones. In 2018, they were photographed kissing despite the pair being in separate relationships.

Katya was married to Strictly professional, Neil Jones, at the time, and Seann had cheated on his girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries, on her birthday, according to reports. It was a scandal that brought the "curse" to public attention again. This year, Strictly Come Dancing 2025 is scheduled to conclude with its Grand Final on December 20, 2025.

Meanwhile, Mike and Zara stepped onto the red carpet at Monday evening's Beauty Awards in London. Princess Anne's daughter and her former England rugby player husband attended the glittering ceremony at City Central at the HAC.

Zara confirmed the Tindalls' festive holiday plans, confirming they'll spend Christmas at Sandringham with the King and other royals.

The couple and their three children, Mia Grace, 11, Lena Elizabeth, seven, and Lucas Philip, four, will participate in the traditional Norfolk gathering.

Zara said: "We are so lucky, Christmas is always amazing. We get to do a lot of fun things, and the place looks amazing. We will see everyone."
