Meghan Markle gave fans an unprecedented look into her and Prince Harry's £12 million mansion in California last week, and one never-before-seen corner of the property surprised those watching the video.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's £12m mansion has a hidden detail that fans overlooked. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to the US in 2020, after stepping down from their senior roles in the Royal Family.

They first stayed at the home of actor Tyler Perry while they settled into life in California. Later, they bought a beautiful property in Montecito, Santa Barbara, for just over £12 million ($15 million).

They've been turning it into a cosy home for their two children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.

Fans were eager to see inside the mansion after it was revealed that the house used to film their Netflix series was actually another property nearby.

Last week, Meghan gave her followers an unexpected glimpse into their home.

Meghan gave fans a sneak peek into her and Harry's luxurious Montecito home in a video to launch her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

The Duchess was filmed in various parts of their mansion, including the lush garden where she grows her own fruits and vegetables and keeps chickens.

The brand is based at the Sussexes' stunning Montecito residence, and the promotional video offered viewers a glimpse into their lavish home.

One surprising feature that caught viewers' attention was a beautiful brick walkway outside the property, perfect for enjoying the breathtaking California sunsets.

In one part of the video, Meghan is seen wearing a black ballgown at the end of the walkway, with their expansive back garden visible behind her.

The hanging light and wooden beams in the walkway add a cosy touch to their opulent home.

Meghan's new lifestyle brand announcement was a bit unclear, but trademark papers show she plans to sell a range of home goods and food.

She's branching out into nut butters, jams, jellies, oils, cookware, table linen, yoga gear, and pet products.

Meghan's also planning to release a cookbook and is rumoured to be partnering with Netflix for her own cooking show, in collaboration with American Riviera Orchard.
