Meghan Markle's new strawberry jam product is being enjoyed in Prince Harry's best friend's household, but royal fans think its promotion feels too "forced".

Polo player, Nacho Figueras, posted a picture on Instagram of himself eating jam on toast, while posing with Meghan's new product which clearly showed her brand label - 'American Riviera Orchard'. His caption read: "Did I tell you I love your jam?"

Meghan distributed her 50 special jars of jam to friends and influencers including Nacho's wife, and socialite, Delfina Blaquier as Meghan looks to establish herself separate from the Royal Family and her career in Hollywood.

Fans have been quick to criticise how Meghan has chosen to promote her product. Under Nacho's social media post, one fan wrote: "Sorry if this offends, but Meghan should not be using others to promote herself."

With regards to the new series and speaking to Hello! Magazine, Nacho shared just how much playing polo means to Prince Harry: "We've been working on this for a long time. It was always Harry's dream and passion to share with the world, what it takes to be a really competitive polo player and show polo at the highest level."

Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho co-founded Sentebale as a response to the needs of children and young people living in Lesotho.

Sentebale has since expanded its operations to Botswana and works providing support for young people living with HIV, Aids and mental health issues and training related to career development, entrepreneurship and education.

Polo events have raised more than £11.4 million for the charity.
