Meghan Markle may have finally found the key to success with the second series of her show, With Love, Meghan. The 44-year-old returned to our Netflix screens this morning with eight brand-new episodes of her cooking and lifestyle show.

As well as creating delicious treats, Meghan was joined by a host of well-known faces - many of whom will likely finally be recognised by viewers in the UK. As a viewer from the UK, I do feel like the second series is a far better success than the first.

The decision to bring in some familiar faces from the UK, I feel, has worked in her favour as it made this series feel more rounded and wholesome.

In episode five, Meghan was joined by writer Jay Shetty and his wife, Radhi Devlukia. Although the couple now reside in the US, the pair were both born in the UK and their energy bought a sense of calm - which, in turn, worked alongside Meghan and the show's dynamic.

Queer Eye's fashion expert Tan France also joined Meghan in the third episode, which allowed Meghan to open up about her time in the UK - even revealing that one thing she missed from Britain was her favourite radio station, Magic FM.

Meghan previously lived in the UK between 2017 and 2020, and is also where she welcomed her first child in 2019.

Clare Smyth also joined Meghan in episode six, with the celebrated British chef having previously catered for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding in the UK in 2018.

Not only has Meghan's reputation in the UK been on a downward spiral for some time, but it has also been reported that she has no plans to return to the UK.

Hearing her speak about the UK and invite guests from her husband's and son's birth country shows that not all is lost.

Even if she doesn't plan on visiting Britain anytime soon and her ratings don't get boosted from her new guests, she may just have unlocked the key to success.
