Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were spotted attending an art event in Los Angeles shortly after the Duchess unveiled her new brand.

Meghan Markle dressed to impress to attend the inauguration of a new art exhibit in downtown Los Angeles with Prince Harry last week.

The Duchess of Sussex donned a Carolina Herrera coat valued at £2,997 that had fans flocking to TikTok to praise the royal for her “effortless style" at the Kinsey African American Art and History Collection exhibit.

TikTok user @harry.nd.meghan shared a video of Meghan, who is seen wearing an intricately embroidered cape coat and streamlined trousers with timeless ballet flats.

The TikTok post has received 160,000 views, 55,579 likes and 300 comments, celebrating both the Duchess and the foundation, with TikTokers writing messages like “I support everything they do” and “This is so wonderful! The Kinsey Collection is amazing!”

Addressing Meghan's fashion sense, Royal Holloway professor Pauline Maclaran told the Daily Express US: “A little of her magic rubs off on the product or brand in other words and makes it more desirable.”

In the clip, Meghan and Harry can be seen standing next to each other at the front of the room.

The Duchess of Sussex is seen holding a mic to address attendees while the Duke observes her.

The event was the first major public appearance Meghan put in since unveiling her new brand, American Riviera Orchard – an outing experts suggested could be part of a series of “regal” events aimed at promoting her new brand.

Prior to the event, royal commentator Richard Eden said: “While American Riviera Orchard is very much Meghan’s venture, Harry will, I’m told, join his wife for a string of ‘regal’ public appearances over the coming days and weeks.”
