Emergency services including a bomb squad have rushed to a street in Manchester, with a number of homes evacuated as a result.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Servcice and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit descended on Ellesmere Street in Failsworth this afternoon, leaving residents terrified.
People have been urged to stay away from the scene while they tackle the incident.
