A man from Margate has been convicted of his partner's murder after an investigation by Kent and Essex police.

Thomas Allen, 38, stabbed Samantha Murphy, 37, at a neighbour's house after kicking a hole through the door of the property on Saturday 16 July 2022.

Mr Allen was arrested around two hours later, but Ms Murphy tragically died at the scene.

Thomas Allen was convicted of murder following a trial at Maidstone Crown Court, to be sentenced at a later date.
