A man has died after a car crashed into a pub and burst into flames following a police chase.

The vehicle collided with the White Lion in Heywood, Manchester, around 3 am. on Monday, before becoming engulfed in a fatal blaze.

According to Greater Manchester Police, the car, which is believed to be a Dacia Sandero, failed to stop for officers. Soon after, the car smashed into the pub
