A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man and a woman were injured in two separate crossbow attacks in east London, the Metropolitan Police said.
The man was detained at around 11pm on Sunday, as part of an operation in response to two incidents in Shoreditch earlier this month, the force said.
The Met added that officers searching the man’s address following his arrest discovered a crossbow, knives and other weapons.
The man is in custody at an east London police station.
