Insider gives seven-word verdict on whether Prince Andrew will publish tell all memoir

Prince Andrew position within the Firm and public perception have hit a new low over the last few weeks as a result of finding himself caught up in more scandals following his previous relations with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. As well as losing the use of his royal titles, the King’s brother, 65, is also now facing potential eviction from his 30-bed Royal Lodge mansion.

While he is reportedly set to be moved to a smaller royal abode owned by The Crown Estate, with Frogmore Cottage being a rumoured option, Andrew will no doubt be feeling a great sense of loss for everything he had and positions he held. This has led to some fears that he could one day end up taking a similar path to Prince Harry, who penned his own memoir Spare after feeling mistreated by the Firm and members of his family. Although Andrew himself has not addressed this, it is believed the prince will not put pen to paper, with one insider giving a seven-word verdict on the concerns.

A source described as an insider told The Sun on Sunday: “Andrew won’t write a book like Spare.”

The insider claimed this is because Andrew, 65, “has promised the King” this is something he would not do.

Instead, it is believed he will continue to live a relatively quiet life out of the royal spotlight.

While Andrew will not be seen publicly with the Royal Family going forward, unless for very few occasions such as funerals, it is believed he will still enjoy some of the luxuries being a royal brings.

If he moves to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former cottage, it is believed he will still have the royal Windsor estate to carry out some of his most-loved hobbies on, such as horse-riding.

It is believed he will also still meet up with royal relatives privately, including his daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

When relinquishing the use of his royal titles less than two weeks ago, Andrew made it clear that he continues to deny accusations against him and instead was no longer going to use his titles as it distracted from the work of the Royal Family.

He also said that he made this decision as he has put his duty to his “family and country first” - a suggestion that he does not want to take any action, such as writing a memoir, that could disrupt family relationships.
