Inside Prince Andrew's lonely life at Royal Lodge as he is exiled from Firm

Prince Andrew’s life on the royal stage is now practically over, with the King’s brother having confirmed he will no longer use his royal titles. The prince, 65, has been at the heart of a number of scandals in recent years as a result of his previous association with the late convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.

While Andrew has continued to strongly deny all the accusations against him, he acknowledged that it was proving a “distraction” from the work of the Royal Family, which reportedly led to his decision to relinquish his use of his royal titles. Although he has not been a working royal for some years now, he has frequently attended royal events such as Christmas at Sandringham.

This means that Andrew is likely to instead continue living a lonely life at Royal Lodge - The Crown Estate property he resides in with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

While Andrew himself has not shared much insight into what life at his Windsor 30-bed mansion looks like, sources have previously suggested just how lonely it is.

On the Channel 5 documentary Fergie, Andrew and the Scandal of South York, royal experts revealed what Andrew does all day at his royal home.

Richard Kay, royal correspondent for the Daily Mail, said: “Well he doesn't do very much. He is having to lead a life very much below the radar."

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond then said that the prince also sits and watches planes and their journeys online.

She said: “He will sit at the big screen and watch the planes taking off and landing at airports... ehm, well, everyone to their own choice."

It is also believed that the King’s brother spends a lot of his time playing video games - something a source told The Times.

While Andrew may be hoping to continue his low profile existence at Royal Lodge, this may not be the case forever.

This is because there have been calls by the public for Andrew to be evicted from the home, which he holds a lease for until 2078.
