A disturbing photograph of the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein posing with young topless women in his Paris flat has been released by French police. It is among a batch of previously unpublished images of the £10million apartment where victims of Epstein were allegedly raped and otherwise sexually assaulted.

All of the photographs were seized by detectives in 2019 – the year Epstein, a billionaire financier, is said to have taken his own life in an American prison cell. French investigators are using the millions of files on Epstein released by the US Justice Department to assist their enquiry into what happened at the flat, which is at the Arc de Triomphe end of Avenue Foch. Epstein visited it more than 170 times, and used it as the European base of an international underage sex trafficking ring, it is alleged.

Abused children as young as 12 were said to have passed through the Paris apartment, which included a massage parlour.
It is also seen in the new photos, which have been published by Le Parisien news outlet.

But enquiries about the activities of Epstein and his friends in France have been reinvigorated by new witness testimonies.
A woman who cannot be named for legal reason has told Paris prosecutors that she worked as a "sex slave" at the Avenue Foch apartment.

In interview notes leaked to French media she said an intermidiary "wanted me to meet girls for Epstein, to give him massages—prostitution.

"He showed me photos of girls, they were Moroccan, and I had to tell him if they would appeal to Epstein.

"I told him no, that he wouldn't be interested, because I knew what was going on behind the scenes, and I didn't want another girl to suffer."

Asked if women were solely being procured for Epstein for sexual purposes, the woman replied: "Yes, and I don’t think it was just for Epstein, but for other important people as well."

Epstein took his own life in an American prison cell on August 10, 2019, soon after arriving in New York from Paris in his private jet.

The Foch property was also visited by Virginia Giuffre Roberts – another former Epstein ‘sex slave’.

Regular guests at the Epstein property also included his long-term British girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, now 64, who is currently serving 20 years in an American prison for child trafficking.

In a further chilling twist to the case, Virginia Giuffre Roberts said 12-year-old twin girls were ‘recruited’ in Paris and sent to America for Epstein to have sex with.

Following Epstein’s death, there was also a raid on Karin Models, a Paris agency close to Avenue Foch, run by fashion agent Jean-Luc Brunel, who was suspected of helping Epstein procure women.

Brunel was charged with the rape of minors in France, but he too took his own life in his Paris prison cell in February 2022, aged 75. Brunel was said to have spent a lot of time in Epstein’s Foch flat, often with alleged victims - another reason why it was considered "a crime scene", according to a senior investigating source in Paris.

Brunel's death is believed to be the main reason why the investigation into Epstein’s activities in Paris was discontinued later in 2022, but it has now been revived.
