In a bid to assist travellers in planning their journeys more efficiently, holiday home rental company Casago has compiled a list of the best and worst airports across the globe, focusing on queueing times.

Analysing customer reviews from airlinequality.com, each airport was assessed based on a star rating system ranging from one to five stars, with the aim of providing a comprehensive overview of queueing experiences.

The latest findings have unveiled the top ten worst airports in Europe for queueing, painting a vivid picture of where passengers might encounter significant delays.

Interestingly, this list has also exposed an intriguing trend, with two airports situated in the same city making it to the ranking.

Topping the list is Grenoble Alpes Isere Airport in France, where travellers have reported extensive wait times that have left them less than impressed. Following closely behind is Berlin Brandenburg Airport in Germany, which has also struggled to keep queueing times at a manageable level.

France makes another appearance on the list with Bordeaux Airport and Paris-Beauvais Airport securing spots among Europe's worst airports for passenger delays.

Meanwhile, the United Kingdom finds itself well represented with London Stansted Airport and London Luton Airport both earning less-than-stellar reviews for their queueing experiences.

Not to be outdone, Heraklion International Airport in Greece and Belfast International Airport in the UK have also garnered negative attention for their lengthy queues.

Belgium's Brussels South Charleroi Airport and Switzerland's Geneva Airport complete the list of Europe's top ten worst airports for queueing, highlighting the widespread nature of this issue across the continent.
