Women’s rights activist and TV personality Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu has wished Kate Middleton well with her cancer treatment after previously speculating about where she was. Dr Shola was one of many who took to X, formerly Twitter following Kate’s abdominal surgery to speculate over her whereabouts after a doctored image was published by Kensington Palace and blurry photos of her at a farm shop were released.

But now the activist has wished her well with chemotherapy in a Twitter post. The post read: “Cancer is a b***h - get well soon.”

Dr Shola had previously asked: “Wait, who the hell is that with Prince William? Are you all thinking what I’m thinking or do I need to go to Specsavers?”

Despite her kind wishes, Dr Shola received a deluge of complaints for her previous comments. She addressed her followers saying she was able to wish her well and criticised the monarchy at the same time.

A follow up post read: “Who made you banshees the ‘get well’ police? You think me wishing Catherine ‘get better’ from cancer (as I would any other human) means I can’t criticise the Royal Family, British media or you dementors for your hypocrisy in your treatment of Catherine and Meghan?

“You really don’t know me. You see this post you’re so ‘enraged’ about. I stand by every word.”
