Chrissy Teigen has 'one of best bites all year' as she lavishes praise on Meghan Markle

Chrissy Teigen has said that she has had "one of best bites all year" as she became the latest celebrity to try Meghan Markle's jam.

The American model and television personality took to Instagram to share how she devoured the jam, opting to pair it with rustic bread, triple cream brie and thick-cut bacon.

Sharing with her 42.6 million followers, Chrissy uploaded the video with Bob Marley's 'Jamming' playing over the clips.

Chrissy captioned the video, which also included her daughter Luna, with: "We jammin!! This might have been one of the best bites we’ve had all year - all we used is some rustic bread, salted butter, triple cream brie, thick cut bacon and some @americanrivieraorchard jam!

"[It] took about 8 mins total and made us happy for the entire weekend [white-heart emoji]."

Chrissy is the latest celebrity to lavish praise on Meghan, with fashion designer Tracy Robbins and socialite Delfina Blaquier also sharing posts on social media last week.

Meghan is thought to have sent out a jar to 50 close friends and American influencers last week, each labelled between one and 50.

Ms Robbins, who is thought to be a close friend of Meghan, shared an aesthetic picture of a hamper with the jam included.

Along with the picture posted on her story, the caption read: "@AmericanRivieraOrchard breakfast, lunch and dinner just got a little sweeter."

Delfina - who is wife of Prince Harry's friend Nacho Figueras - also got gifted one of the jars.

In her post, which was also shared to her Instagram story, she wrote: "Strawberry jam makes me happy / and I [heart] your jam @americanrivieraorchard."

Delifina and Nacho were pictured with Meghan and Harry at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge benefitting Sentebale at Grand Champions Polo Club earlier this month.

Abigail Spencer, who starred in Suits alongside Meghan, also shared a series of images of the jam on April 21.

Being gifted number six, Abigail captioned her post: "This jam is my jam. A delicious taste of what's to come indeed... love you so M."

The jam is the first launch from American Riviera Orchard, but whether it will be publicly sold remains unknown.

Meghan launched American Riviera Orchard on March 14, with a new Instagram account and a sleek website shared on the day of launch.
