Celebrations Sweep Israel and Gaza as First Phase of Trump’s Peace Plan Secured

Celebrations have erupted across Israel and Gaza, as the region welcomes the agreement to the first phase of U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan.

Indirect talks between Israel and the Hamas terrorist group in Egypt on Trump’s 20-point peace plan resulted in an agreement on Oct. 8. The first phase of the deal includes the release of the remaining Israeli hostages within days in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
