Budget retailer B&M has announced the dates that some of its stores will be shutting their doors this month, either for refurbishment or relocation. B&M, which recently completed renovation work at stores in locations including Pentwyn, Stockport and Leicester, is planning further changes to two more of its shops in the coming weeks.

Its store in Carmarthen, south-west Wales, is set to move from its current site in the town centre to a former B&Q building on Glanyrafon Road. The existing Hall Street store is due to shut on Saturday, August 15, with the new Parc Pensam store set to welcome its customers a week later on Saturday, August 22. The new location is considerably larger and said to be among Carmarthen’s biggest retail spaces.
