Prince William won't meet Prince Harry due to the "stress" he has caused his wife, Princess Kate, claims journalist Andrew Pierce.

The Duke of Sussex is returning to the UK to attend a special ceremony in London to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games next week.

Much like any time that Harry announces a visit to Britain, questions have begun over whether he will meet with King Charles and Prince William.

Speaking of Harry and William on the latest edition of The Mail's 'The Reaction', Mr Pierce said that he believes there is "no chance" that William will meet with his younger brother.

Discussing why, Mr Pierce said that it is likely down to the amount of "stress" that Harry has caused to his wife, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment.

He said: "Kate is still being treated [and] recovering and I think a lot of her stress, I would directly associate with Prince Harry and the book. I think it's been very difficult for her."

The commentator added: "I hope the King sees him [Prince Harry]. The relief is she [Meghan] is not coming. She is staying in American with the children."

As well as referring to Kate as "the sister [he] never had and always wanted" in his book, Harry also documented various moments of tension during his time as a senior royal - some involving his sister-in-law.

Harry wrote about Meghan Markle and Princess Kate's alleged argument over Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress ahead of their wedding in 2018.

Speaking of whether Harry will meet with his father, he added: "I make a prediction, they will see each other."

Although it remains unclear when Harry last met with his brother, the 39-year-old flew over to the UK in February to meet his father.

Just one day after the King's cancer diagnosis was publicly revealed, Harry travelled to the UK to see him at Clarence House.

Harry only spent a total of 25 hours in the UK, before travelling back to California to reunite with Meghan and their two children - Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two.

After much speculation, it has been said that Meghan will not join Harry in the UK.

Meghan will therefore not make an appearance at St Paul's Cathedral and will meet her husband in Nigeria a few days later instead.

The couple will travel to Nigeria to attend more commitments for the Invictus Games shortly after Harry's UK visit.

Harry and Meghan will visit the African country to take part in a host of cultural activities and talks about the Games - as well as meeting some service members and their families.
