Prince Harry's has released five telling words that show how he really feels about a reunion with his father, King Charles.

The Duke of Sussex arrived in the UK earlier today in preparation to attend a special ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in London on Wednesday.

It has now been confirmed, after much speculation, that Harry will not meet with his father whilst in the UK.

While Harry won't meet the King, a statement released on Tuesday afternoon revealed that he "hopes to see him soon".

A spokesperson for Harry said: "It unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.

"The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon."

According to Apple, Harry will also not be visiting Prince William, but was "keen" to see his father.

Arriving in the UK on Tuesday afternoon, Harry is understood to have travelled without Meghan Markle and their two children - Archie, five, and Lilibet, two.

It was previously reported that Meghan will meet Harry for a visit to Nigeria later this week, which was seen as an apparent snub to the UK.

The couple will travel separately, with Harry travelling from the UK to Nigeria for further commitments to the Games.

Today's touchdown in the UK marks the first time that Harry has been in the UK since his whirlwind trip just hours after his father's cancer diagnosis was made public earlier this year.

Within 24 hours of the reveal of the King's diagnosis, Harry made the 10-hour journey from Los Angeles to London back in February.

Like this most recent visit, Harry travelled alone in February - without Meghan and their two children.

On the day of Harry's Invictus Games ceremony on May 8, the King is expected to attend a traditional gathering in the Buckingham Palace Garden. This will mark the King's second public outing since returning to public duties last week.

As well as May 8, a second gathering will be held on Tuesday, May 21.

A third is expected to take place at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh and will be held on Tuesday, July 2.
