Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have dropped a huge hint about their future ties with the UK.

The Sussexes' latest big move is to hire PR guru Charlie Gipson as their communications executive.

Mr Gipson is UK-based which could signal that the pair have no intentions of cutting future ties with Britain.

The new hire also shows that Harry and Meghan are keen to continue and improve relations with the British public.

Charlie will spearhead the role of Director of Communications and be the go-to for British media enquiries.

Kyle Boulia has been brought on board as Deputy Press Secretary and Director of Communications for US media, joining the Sussex’s expanding team.

Miranda Barbot is now VP of programs and media operations and Ashley Hansen will continue to oversee communications for the couple's Archewell Foundation.

The Prince and Duchess stepped back from royal duties four years ago amid escalating tensions with The Firm - escaping to their new home in Montecito, California, with their two children Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two.

This fresh connection to the UK follows an admission by Prince Harry that the UK is never far from his mind.

Speaking on Good Morning America, he said: "My family and my life in California is as it is. I have got other trips planned.

“That would take me through the UK or back to the UK, so you know, I'll stop in and see my family as much as I can."

The Duke of Sussex is returning to mark the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games in London on May 8.

For the special ceremony planned at St Paul's Cathedral Harry has been listed as a guest - but Meghan's attendance remains unknown.

Meghan has been tipped to join her husband in the UK, with the Duchess’s name also on the list of guests. However, the mother-of-two's name has been marked with 'TBC' [to be confirmed].

The couple could be set to bring their two children to mark the anniversary of the Games in London - although it has been reported that Meghan has fears over their safety in the UK.
