Meghan Markle "lost the woke brigade" after "mocking" the late Queen as she described their first encounter before her engagement to Prince Harry.

In the second episode of her and Harry's Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex performed a mock curtsy as she admitted her bafflement over royal protocol.

Meghan described her surprise at learning she would still be required to follow strict rules when meeting senior royals even when spending time as a family behind closed doors.

Royal commentator Maureen Callahan told GB News: "I will tell you the tipping point for Meghan when she lost many of the woke brigade in America.

“It was the moment she mocked her first meeting with the Queen, miming her own extremely deep, disrespectful curtsy to the Queen with a smirk on her face as her emasculated husband sat right next to her with a very pained expression on his face and he said nothing."

Meghan Markle 'won't bring Archie and Lilibet to UK' despite King's plea, says expert

Meghan Markle is unlikely to bring children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the United Kingdom, according to a royal expert.

That is despite sources claiming King Charles is "desperate" for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to bring their children to visit their extended family.

The relationship between Meghan, Prince Harry, and the Royal Family has been strained, with their two young children spending minimal time in the UK.

In an attempt to mend bridges, it's believed that the King has extended an invitation to the Sussexes to spend the summer at Balmoral.

However, royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths doubts that Meghan will accept the offer.

Prince Harry 'extremely disappointed' as he considers major U-turn on UK visit

Prince Harry is "extremely disappointed" that he may be forced to change his plans to return to the UK next month, according to a royal insider.

The Duke of Sussex was scheduled to travel back to London in May to attend the celebrations for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

However, a source close to the royal has now suggested he could be "forced to consider" cancelling amid ongoing security concerns for himself and his family.

The Duke earlier this year lost a challenge against the Home Office protesting the decision to remove his security detail after he and Meghan Markle stepped down from their official roles.

The insider said: "Whenever Harry travels to the UK, his trips are always dependent on how secure he is. Before deciding whether to attend the Invictus Games anniversary event, his security team must be sure that St. Paul's is adequately protected by the metropolitan police and his own security needs are met while he's in London.

"Harry wants to spend more time in the UK with his family, but there's no way he can do that while a question mark hangs over his security detail."
