Meghan Markle, the and former Suits star, was given strong advice by her co-actor Wendell Pierce before she walked down the aisle with Prince Harry in 2018. Wendell, who played Meghan's father Robert Zane in the show, was candid during his conversation with her on her last day on set.

"It was the last night of working and I said, 'Meghan, your life is going to change, and you're going to be in a bubble,'" he shared, "But just always remember, no matter what, I'm your friend - you have lots of friends."

Wendall detailed his encounter with Meghan in an interview with PEOPLE earlier this year.

"We're always thinking about you, we'll always be there for you," he recalled relaying to Meghan during their parting dialogue, adding, "And you know, no matter where you are, always know you have a friend in me."

Recently, the news broke that a Suits spin-off series, Suits LA, featuring Stephen Amell, will be launched soon. While there were speculations regarding Meghan making a comeback to reprise her role, it has been confirmed she will not join the new series.

Wendell offered Meghan more advice, saying: "Controversy and the life living in the public eye always takes on a life of its own. You love this man. You love your two children, [Archie and Lilibet]. Do what's best for all of you. And let that be your guiding light and your North Star."

Meghan, aged 42, has been making waves with her latest lifestyle brand launch, American Riviera Orchard, which is set to begin selling high-end products.

While Meghan is engrossed in her burgeoning business, Harry is set to make a solo return to the UK to celebrate the Invictus Games' 10th anniversary next week on May 8.

The Duchess plans to remain stateside with Archie and Lilibet until she joins Harry for an upcoming visit to Nigeria. The couple will engage with service members and immerse themselves in various cultural experiences during their stay in the African nation.
