King Charles's unwavering generosity has been highlighted once again after the monarch made a moving gesture for one of his late mother's most senior aides.
Angela Kelly, who served as Queen Elizabeth's personal assistant and senior dresser for almost 30 years was asked to vacate her Grade II-listed cottage on the Windsor soon after the late monarch's death.
However, the King kept the promise he made to his mother of lifelong accommodation for Ms Kelly and purchased a modest three-bedroom bungalow for the ex-royal employee.
The bungalow boasts 80s-style architecture and is located in the Peak District, with stunning views of the northern hills.
It features a spacious lounge with a gas fire, a cosy dining room and an open-plan kitchen.

It was purchased for £465,000 from the Royal Family's Coutts bank account, according to the Mail.
A few weeks before her move, the former aide posted a photo of her Windsor garden on Instagram and wrote: "Getting ready to say goodbye. I am moving at last to my new home which I will be able to call My Home at last."
Last month, the former aide gave us a glimpse of the hills surrounding her estate with a new snap on Instagram.
It is understood that the property will revert to the Crown when Ms Kelly dies.

Meanwhile, part of Ms Kelly's deal is reportedly to not ever share any royal secrets with a non-disclosure agreement stating that she is banned from using the words 'King' and 'Palace' for commercial purposes.
Ms Kelly, originally from Liverpool, formed a close relationship with the late Queen as her "right-hand woman" over the years. They originally met in 1992.
Since then, she has published two books about working Queen Elizabeth - Dressing the Queen: The Jubilee Wardrobe, published in 2012 and The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe, published in 2019.
