Just Stop Oil has stooped to a new low, after two protesters from the eco-mob were videoed trying to smash the glass above the Magna Carta at the British Library.

Two eco-protesters were videoed wielding a hammer and chisel, while wearing Just Stop Oil t-shirts, attacking the glass, in one of the group's more bizarre protests.

According to Sky News, the protesters are in their 80s and made little progress at getting through the glass.

The two protesters are reportedly Reverend Dr Sue Parfitt, 82, and Judy Bruce, 85, who then glued their hands together, demanding an emergency plan to just stop oil by 2030.
