An eyewitness has claimed a young boy was 'stabbed in the head' in the attack in Hainault in North East London.

A young boy was allegedly 'stabbed in the head' during a horror attack in Hainault, north east London today (April 30), according to an eyewitness.

Around 7am today, police were called to Thurlow Gardens after a car had been 'driven into a house'. A man 'armed with a sword' was then seen walking around the area, and police say five people were stabbed in the incident.

According to James Fernando, 39, told Express.co.uk one of those victims was a boy, aged around 16, who was 'knifed in the head' while on his way to school.

He said: "He was wandering around after the police came looking for victims."
