A royal expert has pointed out that a major change in the Royal Family's behaviour makes them appear "more genuine".

Zara Tindall and King Charles displayed their genuine bond at the Royal Windsor Horse Show last week, with the niece and uncle spotted greeting one another with open arms.

Speaking of certain members' "public displays of affection", royal expert Jennie Bond said that the pair shared a "proper hug".

Noticing the warmth of their embrace, Ms Bond told OK!: "Now THAT’s a proper hug! And a proper relationship: loving, warm, and unselfconscious.

Sharing that this is something we are seeing more from royals, the expert added: "We are seeing a lot more public displays of affection from the royals these days… and it’s a good thing.

"It makes them all much more relatable and genuine.

"The days of the stiff upper lip and polite handshakes are passing. Hooray!"

In a romantic sense, Zara is known to be very affectionate publicly with her husband, former professional rugby player Mike Tindall.

Back in March, Mike and Zara caused a major fan frenzy with their cheerful PDA at Cheltenham Racecourse.

The royal couple looked happy as they walked hand-in-hand and shared a sweet moment together.

Zara and Mike, who share three young children, shared a kiss as Princess Anne's only daughter placed a gentle hand on her husband's neck.

Earlier in the year, Zara and Mike were also spotted packing on the PDA in Australia.

Enjoying a day at the beach, the couple held hands as they strolled along the beach.

The King has also often been seen showing off his sweet bond with other members of his family, such as his "beloved" daughter-in-law, the Princess of Wales.

Both Kate and Charles attended the world premiere of the new James Bond movie with Prince William and the then-Duchess of Cornwall at the Royal Albert Hall in 2021.

Cameras snapped the pair greeting each other with a kiss on the cheek, with experts revealing it shows their "rather tight relationship".
