A UK hospital was put on lockdown after a woman "swallowed poison". Police rushed to Croydon University Hospital in south London on Thursday morning and sealed off a section of the busy hospital.

Two officers from the Met Police are also being treated in hospital after exposure to the substance, which has not yet been disclosed.
